Bunk Bed Pouch.

My Isaac is a collector. The collections don't last long and they are always changing, nonetheless he collects. One of the drawbacks to his collecting is that he takes his collections to bed with him. He sleeps on the top bunk and there's just not a place for him to keep all his treasures. At night when I go in to check on him he's usually sleeping on his collections and other odds and ends. (He usually has better hair days than this but this picture was too good to pass up on posting)

I whipped up a solution to this problem a few nights ago. He's tickled pink with it and I'm almost as tickled. I already want to redo it but for now this Bunk Bed Pouch is working out fine.

This was also the first time I ever used the button hole foot on my machine. (Honestly I was somewhat afraid of it but now I'm pretty excited and looking for ways to add buttons to some other projects in the works.)

Almost as soon as I had this pouch in place Isaac was stuffing it full of all the things he had in his bed. One of his stuffed cats, his Leapster and a few books.

The other end had a stuffed puppy, an Astro Boy toy and some animal from Avatar that he likes to pretend is a dragon. I'm just glad he's using it and thinks its cool.
